shvarzКто-нибудь, объясните мне, каким образом идиотская и неудобная система покупки машины в Штатах дожила до 21 века? У нее есть какие-то скрытые экономические преимущества? Или мощное автодилерское лобби задавливает любую конкуренцию? Или действительно есть много покупателей, которым такая система нравится? Почему ее до сих пор не вытеснило что-то более разумное?
Я ненавижу покупать машины у дилеров. Если кто не знает, там существует целый ритуал, через который обязательно надо пройти, чтобы купить машину за нормальную цену. Если кто не знает, то вкратце: Начальная цена обязательно завышена и расчитана на то, что последует длительная торговля. На ценник на машине вообще никто не обращает внимания, продавец сразу цену скидывает. Потом начинаются разные игры, которые всегда одни и те же. Продавец стонет, что он продает машину дешевле, чем он за нее заплатил, исключительно потому что ты ему так понравился. Строит из себя "хорошего полицейского" и бегает к менеджеру-"плохому полицейскому" уговаривать скинуть тебе цену. Чем дольше сидишь, тем сговорчивее менеджер. Если пытаешься уйти, то менеджер вообще "идет на крайнюю скидку". Продавец обязательно потратит минут 30 на длительные расчеты того, сколько ты будешь платить в месяц, в зависимости от начального взноса. Откуда-то появляются странные "сборы", которые якобы стандартные и "все всегда их платят". Если не повезет, то могут еще и попытаться обжулить, причем в наглую - сказать одно, а написать другое. Надо обязательно все бумажки проверять. Все это такой жуткий маразм, расчитаный на выматывание одной стороны другой. Вот ненавижу всю эту мутотень. Почему она до сих пор не вымерла?

Многие сдаются рано - дилер выигрывает много. Некоторые сдаются поздно - дилер выигрывает чуть-чуть. Но как без подобного ритуала заранее узнать, на сколько лишних тысяч тебя можно развести? :)

Один раз договорился тоже по телефону. А приехав уже подписывать бумаги, оказалось, что паренек ошибся на $500, по-моему. Причем, я думаю, что он действительно ошибся. В итоге мы, по-моему, час за 200 или 300 долларов торговались. Это уже даже после закрытия происходило.
В общем, мой поинт в том, что основную часть переговоров, или даже всю, можно вести по телефону или даже e-mail'у, оно тогда намного меньше времени занимает, плюс ездить не нужно.

Я заметил, что в большом диларшипе, мимо коротого я езжу, по такой системе работает только отделение, торгующее американскими автомобилями - это хорошо видно по тому, что там перед входом постоянно трутся продавцы.
