There are currently 286 postdocs at the Hutch. So, if we subtract the foreign national postdocs (roughly 90-100 since Anne's list contains postdocs and graduate students), then that makes roughly 186 US citizen/permanent resident postdocs, or ~65% of our postdoc population. This is a higher percentage than the national average. In 1998, about 48% of all postdocs in the Biological Sciences were US citizens or permanent residents (data from Enhancing the Postdoctoral Experience booklet published by NAS).
